Windsong’s Partner Shines at the International Builder’s Show, 2012.

Steve Romeny, Ranch home builderWe are proud to announce that one of our managing partners, Steve Romeyn, was invited to speak at the 68th annual NAHB International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Fla. The NAHB selected Steve to join the panel, “50+ Builder Forum: Strategies from Successful Builders”, because of his experience in the industry. During the panel, held earlier this month, Steve shared tips in marketing, finance, design, quality construction and customer service.

The session, attended by 120 builders from across the country,  explored the improvement in the active adult market.  Steve explained that, among other things, the continued success of Windsong Properties is due to the direct contact the ownership team has with customers at all points of the building process.  Windsong staff members also have a passion for serving in the active adult market. “Through the cultivation of relationships with our buyers by our entire team, we have established a family atmosphere that makes us unique,” stated Romeyn.

Even before the International Builders’ Show, Windsong Properties  was seeing increased visitors to Windsong ranch home communities. “Windsong Properties’ traffic and sales over the past couple of months are a leading indicator of the improvement in the market,” stated Romeyn.

Because of this growth, Windsong Properties has started to build two new communities. One of these communities, Garden Street, is beginning construction in Woodstock, GA next month. Both communities will feature Windsong’s award-wining active adult ranch homes. These homes will offer low maintenance living, single-level floor plans and private courtyards. Each home will have wide, no-step doorways, lever handles and ability for personalization.

The International Builders’ Show is the largest residential building industry trade show in the world. Now in its 68th year, the show is the perfect showcase for suppliers and manufacturers looking to market and sell to builders, architects, developers, dealers and distributors.
