Restaurant Week!

If there’s one little pleasure in life that almost everyone likes to splurge on once in a while, it’s a nice night out to dinner with your better half (or your loved ones). But sometimes those special occasions are too far and few between. Luckily, for the next week or so, you don’t need an excuse, because Saturday, September 11, marks the launch of the second annual Cobb County Restaurant Week.

Organized by the Cobb County Visitor’s Bureau, Restaurant Week means you can dine at a number of area restaurants for only $20.10, which covers a three-course lunch or dinner. The list of dining destinations is growing constantly, and already includes more than 30 locations for a week’s worth of culinary adventures!

Each restaurant has planned prix fixe menus, which include several options for each appetizer, entrée and dessert, and across the board the options are delicious and an amazing deal. Visit Chicago’s for an Iceberg Wedge Salad, Shrimp and Chicken Etouffe and Bananas Foster—with a side of live piano music—or try the Marietta Fish Market for Lump Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms, a pound-and-a-half whole steamed Lobster Dinner and Key Lime Pie.

At Noche Tequila & Tapas Bar, the deal includes your choice of three tapas as well as a house margarita or a glass of sangria, and some of the ethnically varied restaurants suggest wine or cocktail pairings. Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity for a big group dinner with your neighbors or friends and as an extra treat, a candlelit romantic dinner with your love.
